Well as some of you may know I have started club/court badminton after being a casual garden/no rules/no scoring knowledge etc. Its been a BIG change and lots to learn, however I am slowly getting there.
I attended a casual session at my local sports centre, there was a coach there who wanted to help me more, so I attended another session yesterday. She really helped. I sometimes don't move around enough and when I do move its not very quick and kinda clumsy. She taught me lots and even the basics like relaxing my hold on my racket (hence the lack of wrist ache which I am soooo use to)
The result? I ended up moving so much more around the court, I felt more power in my shots and I got shots which I didn't think I could because I moved back and moved quicker. I can feel myself becoming more consistent and I love it! Plus my new racket was freaking awesome and helped me get the distance even on weak shots.
